Place and date changes reach every CSV

ImprovementSeptember 29, 2026

Editorial texts no longer hold the place and date. Each stock's CSV adds them when you download it, from the place and date you set for the file. Change the city or the date after analysis, for one file or the whole batch, and every CSV carries the new values. Files you analyzed earlier work the same way.

Each stock gets them in its own form:

  • Shutterstock, iStock and StockSubmitter: a caption at the start of the description, such as "Benidorm, Alicante, Spain - August 6, 2026:". The caption needs a city, a country and a date; the region appears only when you set it.
  • Adobe Stock: no caption. The title describes what is happening, with no date or place, as Adobe's current pages ask.

The city and country also go into the keywords; iStock gets the city only, since its CSV has a column for the country. The batch page shows these place keywords on each file, and editorial analysis writes two keywords fewer so they fit within your keyword limit.
