Privacy Policy
At AiMedia, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Personal Information: Name, email address, and account details when you register or contact us.
- Usage Data: Information about how you use our platform, including uploaded photos and metadata.
- Technical Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and other device information.
- Lightroom plugin: when you describe photos with the AiMedia plugin for Lightroom Classic, it sends us a reduced JPEG copy (1280 px on the long side) of each photo you select, its file name and date, the name you give the shoot and any note you add about it, and, for editorial descriptions, the photo's place. When you change the title, the caption or the keywords of a described photo in Lightroom, the plugin sends us the changed texts, so that the site and its CSV files match your catalog. Originals and RAW files stay on your computer. The copies are stored with their batch and deleted with it. The plugin also tells us its Lightroom version and operating system, which we show in your list of connections.
- Sign-in with Google: if you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and Google's identifier of your account. We do not receive your name, your picture or your contacts.
- Sign-in sessions: for each browser you are signed in on, we keep when you signed in and when that sign-in was last used, so that signing out or changing your password can end it.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our services.
- Process your requests and transactions.
- Communicate with you regarding your account or support inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance user experience, analyze site traffic, and personalize content. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.
4. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share your information with:
- Trusted service providers such as payment processors, cloud storage, and analytics tools.
- Law enforcement or regulatory bodies when required by law.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: the sign-up form runs Cloudflare's check that a visitor is a person and not a robot. For that, Cloudflare receives technical data about your browser and device, and your IP address. Cloudflare's own privacy policy applies to that data.
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on servers provided by reputable cloud service providers. We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide services, fulfill legal obligations, and resolve disputes. When data is no longer needed, it is securely deleted.
